Può essere, però si deve anche tenere conto che l'ottima prestazione (solo in pass rush) è comunque avvenuta il giorno del rientro di dunlap, certo la cosa non è una coincidenza IMo.

E comunque pare fresca fresca la notizia del ritorno di Chris " accompagna Foster in endzone" Crocker, il che la dice lunga sulla nostra situazione dietro :mapor:

Guarda Naoto, la situazione nelle nostre secondarie è allarmante. Peggio forse siamo messi solo a MLB con Maualuga. Raramente ho visto un giocatore peggiorare progressivamente anno dopo anno. Pazzesco che Zimmer non se ne sia ancora reso conto.

Maualuga è un'autentica merda ma il problema oggi è chi fare giocare al suo posto: Burfict secondo me fan bene a non rischiarlo in quel ruolo (anche se in fondo al cuore mi piacerebbe) perchè inesperto, muck lo hanno tagliato segno di mancanza di fiducia in lui, rimane skuta che non mi sembra una cima in copertura e vista la situazione là dietro...
Queste sono considerazioni che ritengo oggettive, domenica comunque vorrei vedere chiunque ma non il ciccione lento nel ruolo di MLB.
Secondo me skuta giocherà qualche snaps di più contro i briganti

A top-ten defense that was expected to help carry a young offense that was featuring a revamped wide receiver roster, inexperience at the offensive guards and a free agent running back, is simply not getting the job done. During the regular season opener on Monday Night Football, the Baltimore Ravens scored on seven of nine possessions, save for a knee at the end of the second quarter. In consecutive weeks rookie quarterbacks have accounted for 628 yards (passing and rushing) and scored four touchdowns. Opposing offenses are averaging 5.8 yards/rush this season and every starting running back has scored a touchdown with Ray Rice (6.8), Trent Richardson (5.7) and Alfred Morris (4.6) averaging well above the league rushing average.

It's somewhat a shock to the system. After finishing last year as the No. 7 defense in the NFL, Mike Zimmer's unit is ranked No. 29 this season.

This year's defense has allowed 140.2 yards more per game this year compared to last. Last season's defense either forced a turnover or a punt during 27 of 37 possessions -- or 73 percent of the time. That number has dropped significantly this year, forcing a punt or turnover during 15 of 31 possessions. Last year's defense allowed five possessions of 60 yards or more; that number has doubled this year. Last year's defense allowed only seven plays of 20 yards or more. This year it's 15.

Could it be the shift in personnel? Perhaps. During the first three games last year the Bengals had defensive end Carlos Dunlap and defensive tackle Pat Sims; the former making his 2012 debut last week against the Redskins, the latter still on PUP. They also had linebacker Thomas Howard, who went on Injured Reserve during practice leading up to the Browns this year. Last year's defense also had Jonathan Fanene, Frostee Rucker and dare we say, Chris Crocker. Additionally Leon Hall and Nate Clements, last year's starting cornerbacks, have also missed time this season.

Lui è un fenomeno, il futuro miglior ricevitore di tutti i tempi.

Comunque entro il 2013 bisogna assolutamente prolungare il contratto di smith, ha fatlto un blocco che mi ha fatto alzare dal divano. Big with comincia ad invecchiare, sarebbe un grosso errore lasciarlo andar via

Spettacolo in difesa Vontaze, ottima partita, sempre presente ed aggressivo unica pecca la copertura nell'occasione del TD, o paura che fra qualche partita lo vedremo al centro.

la difesa, sembrata più solida, non può essere dalla partita di ieri visto che si giocava contro forse il peggior attacco della lega, da rilevare comunque le 37 (mi pare) yards concesse a MJD.

Non mi sta sulle balle perchè è rosso, mi fa incazzare che gli si attribuiscano meriti che non ha. Anche ieri graziato su due porcate che erano altrettanti intercetti sicuri. A me piace molto come freddezza e come presenza in campo ma tecnicamente ed in lettura ha ancora tanto su cui lavorare. E per fortuna aggiungerei...

Aspettiamolo contro D più impegnative contro cui, ricordo, non hai mai portato a casa una W. :plaxico:

le ricezioni di AJ certo agevolano il compito del rosso, ma nemmeno brady te la mette sempre fra i numeri moss, welker Grotkosky e company hanno fatto anche loro ricezioni spettacolari. Nel primo tempo ha lanciato bene ad esempio pur senza mai cagare green, poi, quando la difesa dei briganti ha capito che c'è anche altra gente a ricevere, green è stato più libero e da lì i numeri di ieri sera

Kirkpatrick cleared to practice, Moch returns

Expect to see rookie cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick practicing with the team this week.

The Bengals’ top draft pick said Monday he’s been cleared to practice but is not sure he will be ready to make his NFL debut against the Dolphins on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.

“I’m coming back on the field but that doesn’t mean I’m going to be playing,” said Kirkpatrick, who has been rehabbing a knee injury. “This is a process. We’re still taking it day by day….My legs, they feel healthy. It’s just all about the stamina – if I’m going to withstand the game and the practice.

“The playbook is no problem. I’ve learned the playbook. It’s just going to be totally different when you go out there.”

MOCH RETURNS: Dontay Moch worked out at the team’s facilities at Paul Brown Stadium on Monday for the first time since the preseason. The linebacker served a four-game suspension after testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance in the offseason.

Moch, a third-round draft choice in 2011, did not play last season because of a foot injury and then struggles with migraine headaches. He said he has had no further migraine issues. He worked out at Ignition Sports in Mason during the suspension.

“It’s definitely been tough getting going,” Moch said. “My start hasn’t been great going but I feel like God doesn’t have anything in my course that I can’t take. With that little time down I just took that time to get to know myself better, the playbook and how I could contribute to the team more.”

Moch had 3.5 sacks, one pass breakup and one forced fumble in the preseason.

The Bengals received a one-week roster exemption for Moch to practice with the team without having to make any moves to the 53-man roster. Should the Bengals choose to activate Moch for this week’s game against Miami they would then have to make a move to free up a spot on the roster. The exemption ends Monday.
