| CITAZIONE (Ocho Cinco @ 7/6/2013, 09:53) "Forever young... I wanna be...forever young..." NFL wide receiver Titus Young is facing more charges following a rash of arrests last month from Moreno Valley to Orange County. Riverside County prosecutors charged Young Wednesday, June 5, with two counts of misdemeanor trespassing from May 5, when he was arrested twice in Moreno Valley within 15 hours.
Following his arrest, Young’s ex-girlfriend, who previously worked and lived in Moreno Valley, filed for a permanent restraining order, claiming he was threatening and stalking her. A judge is set to rule on the restraining order next week.
Young, 23, was a standout wide receiver for the Detroit Lions after being drafted in 2011, but he was benched in November for detrimental conduct and released from the team at the end of last season.
Young’s first arrest in Moreno Valley occurred shortly after midnight early May 5, when police said he turned into traffic in front of a police officer. Young was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Prosecutors are still reviewing the DUI case and have not filed charges related to that arrest.
The second arrest came later the same day when Moreno Valley police said Young tried to scale a fence of a police impound lot to retrieve his black Ford Mustang after it was impounded during the DUI arrest. This arrest resulted in the two trespassing charges.
An arraignment for Young is set for July 2 in Riverside Superior Court. Young may not be required to appear in court in lieu of an attorney since the charge is a misdemeanor.
Young remains in a Santa Ana jail, where bail is set at $50,000.
In Orange County, Young faces 11 charges, including four felonies. He is charged with burglary, assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and vandalism.
The day prior to coming to Moreno Valley, police said he stole items from a Laguna Hills gas station while holding his baby son.
In the following week, Young was also arrested in San Clemente when residents said he was trying to break into a home. When police arrived, they said Young tried to fight with officers.
Young’s girlfriend claimed in court papers that Young didn’t tell her he was taking their son to Orange County. She said Young suffers from a mental disorder, but he denied he had a problem. She said he was previously treated at several outpatient facilities.
In a previous incident Moreno Valley police had been called to the girlfriend’s home when she said Young made threats and was waiting outside her home.
A temporary restraining order was issued last month, ordering Young to stay at least 100-yards away from his ex-girlfriend and his son. cazzo ocho, citazioni musicali
