| Can't wait. Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman and 49ers WR Michael Crabtree treated us to one of most epic battles of the 2013 NFL season in the NFC Championship Game.
The two were matched up against each other time and time again. And at the end of the day, Sherman won—tipping a jump-ball to teammate LB Malcolm Smith for the game-securing interception in the red zone.
And in watching the two jaw at each other after the game, followed by Sherman’s epic rant to Erin Andrews, one thing was clear: The two athletes are not BFFs.
Sherman confirmed that during an appearance on Discovery Channel’s American Muscle, and the episode will air later tonight. Bleacher Report transcribed what he said, and Sherman did not sugar-coat his words one bit.
“It’s much more of just I don’t like the dude. You know what I’m saying. And I think he’s sorry. So it’s really what it comes down to.
It was a solid game, and I knew he was going to be a little punk and walk off. He wasn’t going to come shake hands after the game, so I was like ‘alright, I’ll get you right before it. Good game.
We had a little [beef] outside. Me and him had a little outside, a little something. I’m [gonn]a ruin that boy.
It’s just about him, it’s just about Crabtree.
It’s not going to be something that goes away. I hope to play him every year for the rest of my career and choke him out. There’s not much else I can say about the subject. Nobody will understand it but him and me. That’s all that needs to understand.”
